Powwownow uncovers meeting secrets!

Recent research conducted proves that north-western women are the most likely to kiss on greeting (29%), with Events Organisers, Creative and Media types being the main offenders. Free conference call provider, Powwownow recently surveyed 2,000 UK business professionals to discover what the real appeal of 'the meeting' was. Other than chocolate digestives (16%) and time out of the office (9%), 20% revealed they relished the opportunity to flirt.

London Advertising professionals came in second as 22% confessed to air kissing at work, yet only 6% would kiss on a night out. Londoners clearly felt the air kiss was a professional obligation.

In the past 14 months Powwownow has conducted various surveys to reveal the working habits of Small and Medium sized Enterprise employees. The Dirty Habits Survey conducted in the final quarter of 2008 found that a whopping one in three men in SME's had had a sexual thought about their work colleagues whilst in a meeting!

The current survey exposed some remarkable stats:

• 29% of women in Manchester and Liverpool kiss at a meeting
• 20% liked to flirt whilst in a meeting
• 22% of London Ad professionals kiss at work – only 6% choose to kiss socially
• 0% of IT, Finance, Banking and Insurance professional kiss on greeting
• 2% of Civil Service workers, Accountants and Surveyors kiss when meeting
