Snowed in? Conference calling holds the answer

Whilst UK industry predicted a loss of up to £3 billion due to the recent freak snow fall, there are some businesses that have been boosted by a nation snowed-in. In the past week, conference call provider, Powwownow has witnessed a phenomenal 60% increase in registered users.

Business men and women across the country, encouraged to work from home during the inclement weather, have opted for conference calls in a bid to continue business as usual.

Postal firm ViaPost was just one of the businesses affected by the bad weather this week. Simon Campbell CEO commented, "despite all my clients being snowbound, Powwownow meant that we could still meet for free, without trekking through the snow!"
