8th November 2010 and cake club was back with a bang!
A record number of people are taking part in cake club this year, 18 members of staff in total!
Tthe first round saw Leigh our Sales Manager take on Alena our Accounts Assistant:
The tension was getting to them both:
Unusually both cooks had gone for chocolate based cakes:
Alena had made a Mole Hill cake which was filled with bananas and cream.
Leigh had gone for a chocolate cake baked into a heart shape and then decorated with silver balls.
The cake clubbers tucked in:
Stew and Mark were concentrating very hard on their judging
The judging was tight, but only one can go through and Alena won with 8 votes compared to Leigh’s 6.
