The First Powwownow Employee of the Quarter… O-Oh!!

Last week we had a Powwownow afternoon where the whole team left our Richmond offices off to Soho, where we shared some thoughts on the branding and future of the company, and then shared some mexican food and drinks as well!

At the end of the day the first ‘Employee of the Quarter’ winner was announced… Our brand new scheme where as well as being recognised by your peers and having another accolade to add to your CV, a prize of £500 is awarded to spend on ‘an experience’ of choice.

These were the nominations presented about the Jan-Mar Employee of the Quarter:

And the Winner is… O!! (aka Aurelie Zahm, our Customer Service Manager!!!)
In her words:

“I was reading the nominations on the screen and trying to come up with a short list of whom the winner might be when I heard my name. I really wasn’t expecting it and was genuinely surprised! It is nice to know that your colleagues value your work, even though I do not feel that what I am doing is out of the ordinary: I like my job and simply try to do it the best I can, and if I can help people at the same time, I will!

I have yet to decide what to spend my prize money on. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I do not want to rush into it… Amongst other things, I have always dreamt of being a zoo keeper for a day at the London Zoo and getting close to the giraffes, hippos and penguins. But I have to say that driving a tank or riding on a hovercraft are also very appealing…”

Congratulations O, and everyone else, best of luck in June’s ceremony!
