Burley, the traditional New Forest Village where you can find wild ponies freely walking around the village, picturesque thatched cottages. I specially recommend visiting the Burley cider press and trying their great scrumpy cider. Witches, smuggling and dragons are also part of burley’s unique character.
Just a few miles from is the historic market town Ringwood, the home of the Ringwood brewery . Tr
y their cask ales in one of the historic inns. Visit the
New forrest reptile centre and pop in the White hart in the Market place and ask at the bar about the ghost story.
If you wish to go to the seaside Mudeford near Christchurch is the right choice. This small fisherman village has got nice sand beaches and great spots for Crab fishing.
