Fast-growing, European conference call provider Powwownow has extended its service to allow access for US participants to access conference calls organised by UK and European customers. The key feature is that access is at the cost of a standard rate US dial-in number.
Powwownow aims to make access to conference calls simple and easy. There is a massive demand for transatlantic conference calls - in the past they have always attracted either an international call charge or a heavy conference bridging charge. No other conferencing company offers an in-country rate call within the US. This makes Powwownow's launch a global first in the industry.

Powwownow's innovative service centres around a simple dial-up where each invited participant calls a number and, using a PIN, joins the private voice conference. Powwownow's current Enhanced Access users can now invite US callers to their European and UK conferences. There are no bills for organisers, no contracts, and each participant simply pays for their own call. The conference service is immediate, with no need to book, no registration and no conference service charge.
