Therefore we thought it would be useful to pull together some of our most frequently asked questions; this can then be a reference point if you have any questions in the future. If we’ve missed any unanswered questions, feel free to contact us.
Q: Do you need to pre-book the call?
A: No, unless there will be more than 100 people dialling in to the call. Your PIN is dedicated to you, so you can enter your conference call as often as you want, for as long as you want because it is unique to you.
Q: Can international countries dial the standard 0844 number?
A: Yes, but to find the best dial in numbers for you and your participants, our international dial in numbers page will show you the many low-cost local numbers we have for countries all over the world.
Q: How much will it cost me to dial the 0844 number from my mobile?
A: The cost depends on your mobile provider and the contract you have (which they have been known to charge up to 50p/min!), so it’s best you call them to check. Alternatively, we do have our mobile short code
(8 73 73) which you can dial at 12.5p/min to avoid being overcharged by your mobile provider.
Q: If someone uses a different dial in number (e.g. international number) will they end up on the same call as me?
A: Yes, as long as all participants enter the same PIN you will all end up on the same call.
Q: How long is my PIN valid for?
A: Your PIN is valid for life; you can keep on using it over and over again!
Q: How much do the call recordings cost?
A: Absolutely nothing, it is part of the free service. All you have to do is press #8 to start recording. To stop recording, you can simply press #8 again or just hang up your phone.
Q: Do I need a conferencing phone to have a conference call?
A: No, our service can be accessed from any phone!
