Everyone likes an invite, right? Makes them feel special. When scheduling a conferencing call, send a calendar invite so you aren’t alone wondering how everyone forgot the meeting you’ve been planning for days.

THIS IS HOW YOU SCHEDULE A CONFERENCING CALL:

  • 1. Create a calendar invite as you would usually when you’re booking a meeting
  • 2. Add the guests you want to invite, along with the date and time of the meeting and change the location to a ‘conference call’ or whatever tickles your fancy
  • 3. Provide the dial-in numbers and PIN in the body of the invite and briefly explain how to join the call
  • 4. Press send! Boom, now your colleagues can’t make any excuses if they don’t turn up

  • When it’s time to join your call, all you need to do is enter your dial-in number and PIN. Make sure you’ve got it to hand to avoid any unnecessary hiccups!

Alternatively, if you’re not into your apps, then just follow these steps to set up a conference call:

  • If you’re dialling from the UK, then dial in using our UK geographic number: 0330 336 0036. If you’re dialling in from abroad then visit our numbers page to find the correct dial-in number.
  • Enter your PIN when instructed.
  • That’s it, you’re now on a conference call.

They call it a ‘group call’ but it’s essentially a conference call. If you’re loyal to WhatsApp and it’s your app of choice, then you can hold a conference call using it.
